RAD/PBV AND PUBLIC HOUSING LOTTERY WAITLIST OPENING FOR HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO
Important Notice: There is no fee for completing the online application or receiving assistance with the application. Placement is lottery-based, and not first come, first served.
The Housing Authority of the City and County of San Francisco (Authority) is accepting online applications for the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) / Project Based Voucher (PBV) and Public Housing lottery waitlists starting Wednesday, May 7th, 2025, at 8:00 AM Pacific Time and closing Wednesday, May 21st, 2025, at 5:00 PM Pacific Time. Assistance Available
- Free access to computers and the Internet is available at your local San Francisco Public Library. Call 311 for locations of libraries and operating hours or visit www.sfpl.org.
- Application assistance is available through the service providers listed at: www.sfha.org/housing-programs/waitlist
- For disability, language interpretation, or communication in an alternate format, please call the Housing Authority’s Customer Care Center at (415) 715-5200 from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM on weekdays and 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on weekends.
- If you have a hearing impairment, please use the national TTY line at 711.
After Application Closes
If an applicant does not respond to the Authority’s notifications for an appointment, the applicant will be removed from the waiting list. If the applicant has a change of address, phone number, income, or family size, they must notify the Authority of the change in writing or through the Applicant Portal.
